Sorry i havent posted much on my blog. But i havent exactly been free. School exams are JUST over... Note the word just. I made plans with Jamie to watch Click, starring Adam Sandler after school. After that, I got Daryl C's number. So i thought, why not? I sms-ed Daryl and asked him if he wanted to go, since the day before was his birthday and we didnt get to celebrate it with him.
He said he wouldnt go unless another dude went. Hmm... guys... Go figure.. Anyways, he said he would ask a dude named Ronald Foo, if im not wrong, and get back to me. I went back to studying my silly chinese for my exam the next day. After a few minutes, Daryl text-messaged me and said Ronald was busy. And he asked me to call him and ask him. But i didnt know him. So i called and then someone picked up. But then i hung up cause i didnt really know him and it'd be awkward.
I text-messaged Daryl C and asked him to call him again and beg him to go. The clock read 10p.m. Daryl said we'd sort it out when i reached school. I carried on studying for 1 and a half hour, then i went to bed.
When i reached school, Daryl asked me to find someone else to accompany him to centre with us. Oh well. Daryl said the Ronald dude had plans with the Ben dude. Cause the Ben dude was going on a date, and the Ronald dude and a few others were supposed to be his posse. So, whatever.
After school, I went to my car to change my bags cause after that i went to Jamie's house. Not my sister, Jamie CHONG. But Jamie CHIA. haha... ok.... STOP. back to the story. Anyways, I met Jamie at the 'junction' in school. Then, we boarded her car and talked about 'stuff'. hehe... urk.
When we got to her house, she said she wanted to shower but didnt until it was about 2 pm... we played with fake snow. Jamie kept asking me to try on skirts. haha.. I 'stole' kitty her cat. Kitty was really pissed cause I woke her up from her nap. Anyways, skip ahead. I thought we were going to meet Daryl there, but he didnt pick up his handphone when i called. So whatever.
Me and Jamie reached centre point. The first thing we did was get apple pies from McDonald's. I didnt really like apple pies, but by the end of the day, she converted me into an apple-pie-loving-and-eating-FREAK!! :D
We ate our apple pie while looking for pretty belts and big bottles for our homemade birthday present for Char Bhar. :D (RELATIVES BE AWARE THAT Char Bhar is not Charlene Chong, but Charlene Yong. Weird!) . We didnt really find anything, so we reached Palm Square.
We bought 4 regular beef Flaming Teds. 2 for the 2 of us. Then, we went to check out some casual slippers cause, well, she wanted to.
Then i saw a Christian shop next to the nail shop.... They sold Planet Shakers' Albums. I didnt get to buy them when Planet Shakers when they were here. Didnt bring enough money. So i bought one of their old albums. Its really good. After i paid, we went to the elevator to go to the movie floor.
When we got there, there was nobody that we knew there. It was a bit freaky. But then we saw Angela Lai. Her dad is the manager of Growball Cinemas. We said hi and then bye and we continued our search for our friends. Namely, Radiance.
Just then, I got a call from Angela. She asked if we could go back to the ticket counter. I said that'd be ok. We walked back. She asked me if we had our student cards, saying that her dad wanted to do something and that she'd give it back on Monday. Jamie didnt bring hers but I said ok and gave her my card.
Then, her dad asked which movie we were going to watch. We were about to buy tickets for Click, but we were still looking for Radiance. We said that we were gonna see Click. Her dad asked us how many tickets we'd wanted. We told em that we were waiting for Radiance and that we'd buy our tickets later. I quickly tried to call Radiance on her cell, but nobody answered. At that moment, Angela's dad went behind the counter and wanted to get us 3 tickets to Click. But we said that the 3rd ticket'd be a waste since we couldnt get through to Radiance's phone. So, he gave us 2 tickets for FREE!!! We were surprised and we said thank you. Since the movie we were seeing was about to start, we said we wanted to get popcorn and such and started walking away.
Angela came running. Saying that it was her treat. Both of us said that it wasnt neccesary. Really, it wasnt neccesary. She said her dad wanted to. So, she got us 2 milky teas. We said thanks again and ran to our cinema. When we got in and sat down, the movie started. Talk about perfect timing. :D
The movie was really good. Me and Jamie cried secretly. haha. I tried not to let her see that i was crying. Then, i noticed she was also trying to do the same thing. haha... We both laughed. Click was a really good movie. It taught us some stuff.
After the movie, me and Jamie headed for the elevator. When we reached there, Angela and her mom was there. Her mom asked us it we enjoyed the movie. We nodded and said thanks again. She said it wasnt a big deal and gave me back my student card. They said thanks and left.
We went into the elevator and pressed G. When we got out, we passed the arcade where many kids our age went to take pictures. "Da tou tie". We didnt really like taking pictures, but, in the end decided that we should take one to remember this day. We went in and took really stupid pictures.
After that, Jamie asked me what i wanted to do. I said we should go check out some necklaces. She said ok. We went into a shop. There were millions of pendants. The pendants sold here werent glittery, just the kind we like. The pendants and the nacklaces were sold separately. Two jigsaw puzzle pieces caught both of our eyes. They were really pretty. We said we wanted those to the lady. She said the holes were to small to fit in most of the necklaces and that the only ones left were the black, ugly ones. haha. We spent almost half an hour to fit the pendants into two different coloured laces. So one pendant was connected to two laces. It didnt cost much, but they were pretty all the same. We put em on and went to get our pictures taken again. The pictures this time was much better than the last ones. Too bad Radiance missed out.
After that, we went to get more apple pies. After that, we continued out search for clothes. We saw some pretty skirts. Before we were about to try them, Jamie's phone rang. It was her dad. Since we didnt really have to money for those skirts and that we just wanted to try them on, Jamie said that we were done. We went down to Pacific Ngiukee(sp?) to wait for her car. Her car came and yadda yadda yadda. Jamie borrowed me her violin to go to tuition. After that, I went back to her house.
The original plan was that Ahad(my driver) was going to pick me up at Jamie's house and then i'd go home. But Jamie's mom asked me to stay for dinner. I called and asked mom if i could. She said i should tell Ahad and Charlene. I said ok and called both of them. We didnt really have dinner because we had apple pie earlier one. Jamie's mom asked if i wanted to stay over. I thought that that was a bit weird for a mom to ask. Then i said i had to ask mom. I called again and asked. She said it was ok providing i took care of Douglas(my brother) the next day. I agreed.
We took our showers and changed into a new set of home clothes. Then, we headed downstairs to watch a movie, Ultra Violet. I gotta say, it was lousy. The movie made Milla Jovovich really lame. We went online for a bit and talked to Radiance about our great day. After that, Jmie asked me if i was hungry. I was a bit at that moment. She said we'd bake pies. haha.
We started to get the pie ready for baking. We put the pie into the oven. Only one pie because we werent sure if it'd be succesful. We waited 30 minutes. And the pie came out great. I had half of it and she had half of it. Since there was still some more saugages left, we made 2 more. On the 27th minute, there was a power outage. We went to check on our pie. It had just finished baking. We still ate it. It was better than the first one. The first one was a bit overdone.
We found some candles and lit them up. Then, we headed for Jamie's room. We brushed our teeth and i took off my lenses. When we climbed into our beds, the lights came on. The air-con started running. We talked a while and then we fell asleep.
The moral of this story is.... Friends are important?!? Haha. I dunno... LOL.
